Why we're doing this
WIDEN AI is still being shaped by its earliest subscribers. New products live or die on the strength of their first 100 customers — the people who shape the product, advocate for it, and build the playbook for everyone who comes after.
The founding-member structure is straightforward: cheaper rate in exchange for direct access and product-shaping feedback. We're trading lower per-seat revenue for compounding insight about what WIDEN AI needs to be. Once the model is dialled in, public pricing reflects the product's maturity.
If you join as a founder, you're paying $299/month and agreeing to help us figure out what this product should be. Both halves matter.
What WIDEN AI does
Three things — described in detail on the main product page — that aren't available together anywhere else:
- Scheduled draft follow-ups. At +3, +7, and +14 days after a client replies and goes quiet, drafts appear in your Drafts folder (Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP). You review, edit, send (or delete). Nothing sent without your approval.
- Monthly stay-in-touch drafts. For contacts you haven't spoken to in 90 days, a draft of a personalised catch-up email is written based on your prior conversation history.
- Compliance-aware writing. Drafts include your registration number, the disclaimers your profession requires, and the framing your regulator expects. Currently tuned for MARA, BAS/Tax Agent Services, and financial-advice contexts — configurable per founding member's industry.
Who founding members are
The founding cohort is selecting itself. We're looking for solo and small-firm professionals where every client email is high-trust:
- Accountants and tax agents — EOFY, BAS reminders, document chasing

How is the founding rate "locked in"?
While your subscription remains continuously active, your billing stays at $299/month. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you re-enter at the then-current public rate ($499/month or higher).
What happens after the 100-seat cohort fills?
Public pricing moves to $499/month for new subscribers. Existing founders keep their $299 rate as long as they remain subscribed. We may open a second founder cohort at a different rate later, but the original 100 founders keep their original terms.
Is there a free trial?
No. WIDEN AI is paid-only. Founding-member access is $299 from day one. Cancel anytime if it isn't working — most subscribers find half the value in the first week.
Why $499 as the public rate, not higher?
$499/month sits comfortably between $99/month consumer AI tools and $1,500+/month enterprise platforms. It reflects WIDEN AI's positioning as a serious tool for solo professionals where the value (saved follow-up time, preserved client relationships) compounds quickly.
Is my data secure?
WIDEN AI complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Each user's data is strictly isolated — OAuth credentials (Gmail, Outlook) and IMAP credentials are stored per-user (not shared across users) to prevent cross-account data leakage.
